Trust Trade – Terms & Conditions for Trades
By creating an account and listing your business on Trust Trade, you agree to the following Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Purpose
- Trust Trade is an online directory that connects customers with verified trades. We promote your business to customers in your service area but are not a party to any agreement between you and a customer.
2. Eligibility & Verification
You must provide accurate business details, licenses, insurance, and any documents requested for verification.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring your details remain accurate, current, and compliant with all relevant laws and industry standards.
- Trust Trade verifies information provided at the time of onboarding but cannot guarantee the ongoing validity of licenses, insurance, or certifications.
- Trust Trade may require updated documentation at any time and may request further verification if your details, licensing, or compliance come into question.
- Trust Trade reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its sole discretion.
3. Conduct & Accountability
- You agree to perform all work professionally, safely, and to a high standard.
- If Trust Trade receives verified complaints of poor workmanship, misconduct, or dishonesty, your listing may be suspended or removed.
- Misuse of the platform (e.g. false advertising, misleading claims, harassment of customers) is strictly prohibited.
4. Content Standards & Intellectual Property
- All photos, text, and media uploaded must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe on third-party rights.
- Trust Trade may edit or remove content at its sole discretion.
- By submitting content (logos, photos, business descriptions), you grant Trust Trade a non-exclusive license to display and promote that content in connection with the platform.
- You confirm you have the rights to use and share all content you upload.
5. Fees & Payment
- Introductory offers (including free trials) may apply and will be clearly stated at the time of signup.
Standard pricing is $100 per month or $1,000 per year, billed in advance.
- All fees are non-refundable once paid.
- Trust Trade does not guarantee search result rankings, profile visibility, or inclusion in marketing campaigns. Positioning on the platform may vary at Trust Trade’s discretion.
6. Customer Bookings & Responsibility
- Customers contact you directly using the details on your profile.
- You are solely responsible for quoting, performing, and completing any work.
- Any disputes, claims, or agreements are strictly between you and the customer. Trust Trade does not mediate, guarantee payment, or accept liability.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Trust Trade acts solely as an online directory.
- We do not endorse, guarantee, supervise, or control the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any services provided by listed trades.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost, or claim arising from your dealings with customers, or from your use of the platform.
- Access to the platform does not guarantee leads, bookings, or revenue.
- We are not liable for downtime, technical errors, or delays caused by events outside our control (e.g. server outages, natural disasters).
8. Ongoing Audits & Compliance
- Trust Trade may conduct periodic audits of your profile, documentation, and conduct to ensure compliance with these Terms.
- Audits may include requests for updated licenses, insurances, or other evidence of compliance, as well as review of customer feedback and complaints.
- Failure to provide requested documentation or to cooperate with an audit may result in suspension or removal of your profile.
- Trust Trade may temporarily suspend your profile while investigating complaints, verification, or compliance checks.
- Ongoing audits do not guarantee the quality of your services, nor do they replace your responsibility to remain fully compliant with all relevant laws and industry standards.
9. Indemnity
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trust Trade, its directors, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
- Your services or conduct,
- Your dealings with customers, or
- Your breach of these Terms.
10. Termination & Removal
- You may cancel your subscription at any time by providing written notice.
Trust Trade may suspend or remove your profile if:
- You breach these Terms,
- You provide false or misleading information, or
- We receive verified complaints of misconduct or poor workmanship.
11. Non-Circumvention
- If Trust Trade introduces premium features such as in-app messaging or leads, you agree not to bypass - Trust Trade systems for the purpose of avoiding applicable fees.
12. Privacy & Data
- Trust Trade collects and stores your business and contact details to operate the platform.
Customers will be able to view your profile and contact you directly.
- We will not sell your data to third parties.
13. Amendments to Terms
- Trust Trade may amend these Terms at any time.
- Updated Terms will take effect once published on our website. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
15. Entire Agreement & Severability
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Trust Trade.
- If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
